Each year Ainsworth UCC awards a scholarship in honor and memory of the Rev. Cortland Cambric. To qualify you must be a member or family member of Ainsworth or be a former recipient of the Cambric Scholarship and enrolled/enrolling in an institution of higher learning. Priority given to currently active members of Ainsworth. Applications available in the Narthex.

Catherine is a UCC pastor, who has also been a therapist of over 20 years. She has worked in an east coast Pastoral Counseling Center as a licensed clinical social worker, and served churches in crisis or seeking change.

Also all Council Members and Administration Commission members and others, please save Monday, May 21, 6:30pm for a special meeting also. Both these meetings are part of an assessment process to ascertain the best way to pay off our Cornerstone loan. Priscilla Bizer, Capital Fund Raising Executive for the United Church of Christ, will be here and meet with Pastor Lynne, then the council & others on Monday and then with all who want to learn more, give input, have questions, etc. on Tuesday. These meetings are at no cost to us and scheduled to coordinate with a capital campaign Ms. Bizer is assisting on the west coast. Please come to one or both meetings. Your presence is important for the future of our congregation.

May 27 – Pentecost Sunday

On May 27 we will be celebrating the birth of the church with a Special Offering called ‘Spread the Love.’ This annual Strengthen the Church offering goes to support several vital UCC initiatives including the very successful God is Still Speaking Ministry, which has created national buzz for its ads and other unconventional approaches that communicate extravagant welcome for all in our church.

The national offering on May 27 also goes to fund new church starts, invigorate existing congregations, nurture lay and pastoral leadership and build youth an young adult ministries.
